Where and when will the event be held this year?

Saturday, Nov 15, 2025 in Executive Inn & Suites, 1755 Embarcadero, Oakland, CA 94606.

Can someone else represent me or my project at the event?

No. You must pitch your own project — one that you have the rights to.

What is the schedule like?

Email your top three choices from our list of 7 pros to hugh@pitchcircuit.company, along with your name. We’ll try to match you with at least two. You’ll then receive a time slot to come in for your 5-minute face-to-face pitch.

We’re a writing team. Do we both need tickets?

Yes. Each team member must purchase their own ticket — and you’ll get double the number of pitch meetings.

What material should I bring?

Synopses are allowed but not encouraged. Focus on the strength of your first ten pages. If you share a trailer or proof-of-concept, keep it concise and directly relevant.

Should I contact companies before the event?

No — meet them in the room. That’s why they’re attending.

How do I follow up?

Send a thoughtful thank-you note. Only call if a rep specifically asks you to send materials.

Can I pitch different projects to different reps?

Absolutely — tailor to each rep.

Are companies looking for features or TV?

Both — plus books, shorts, true stories, web series that can be adapted.
